This recipe has been formulated to give the qualities needed for a good shaving soap:
+ abundant lather from castor and coconut oils
+ lubricating from bentonite clay and canola oil
+ protective from goat milk, colloidal oatmeal, vitamin E and rosemary oil extract
+ long lasting from palm and coconut oils
+ fragrant from bergamot, basil and patchouli essential oils and oakmoss absolute
The clay helps give the soap extra "slip" and also works to purify your skin. (Think of a clay or mud mask.)
The added castor oil helps give a thick creamy lather. Using multiple oils contributes to the complexity of the lather.
All you need to do is grab a shaving brush and enjoy a wonderfully old-fashioned, but terrific shaving soap!

Ingredients: our own goat milk, coconut (Cocos nucifera) oil, organic RSPO sustainably harvested palm (Elaeis guineensis) oil, canola (Brassica napus) oil, castor bean (Ricinus communis) oil,
sodium hydroxide*, bergamot (Citrus aurantium bergamia) essential oil, bentonite clay, organic colloidal oatmeal (Avena sativa), basil (Ociumum basilicum) essential oil,
patchouli (Pogostemon cablin) essential oil, oakmoss (Evernia prunasti) absolute, vitamin E (tocopherol), rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) oil extract

Medium is 3.3 ounces in weight and 2 7/8 inches in diameter.
Handmade on our farm in small batches using raw milk from our own organically fed goats

Bars are hand poured, hand cut and cured for 45 days
We print our labels on acid-free lignin-free paper made from 100% recycled post-consumer fibers
